—He’s safe.

With her, with whoever; he’s safe.

     …and that’s all that matters.

Text: Patriot to Dr. Strange

  • Patriot: Erica...She broke up with me. And she's pregnant. I don't even know what to do...
  • Patriot: I do know that I want you to be a godparent though. It's one of the few things I've been sure of lately.
  • Dr. Strange: I...shit. Alright, handling these one at a time.
  • Dr. Strange: Erica, if she's pregnant, then right now she likely isn't speaking or acting in her own best interest. Not to say "be a crazy stalker", but be ready for her to try to make it up to you.
  • Dr. Strange: Godparent, I'd be honored, and it'd be another reason to fight to keep both myself and the pack safe. I'm honored, Isaac.
thehuntedgilbert wondered: [PM] I'm worried about you.

[Private]

…with what we’ve been through, who wouldn’t be?

…more people came back?

hair-trigger-temper:

Maybe, maybe not. Us dying could have been done by someone different then whoever brought us back.

Hybrids?

Either way we slice it, someone killed us, and someone brought is all back. Whether or not they’re the same person is one question among many.

Vampire and werewolf hybrids. I thought I was sheltering them from who they were controlled by, but it turns out they were just spying on me.

  • Patriot: Need someone to talk to...got a question too.
  • Dr. Strange: Alright, and fire away.

Text: Patriot to Dr. Strange

  • Patriot: Hey...You busy?
  • Dr. Strange: Just doing some packing, what's up?

…more people came back?

hair-trigger-temper:

Might not be. Someone planned the whole thing …

The thought of being burned alive specifically for the purpose of resurrecting people…I’ll get back to you on how I feel about that.

The hybrids…?

…more people came back?

hair-trigger-temper:

So maybe it’s being covered up my someone?

image

You think maybe they’re connected?

It might be covered up, and the deaths might be coincidental. Either way, that many massacres in one town? This place was charged.

Running to Stand Still || Jeremy & Danny

thehuntedgilbert:

Worrying was ingrained in Jeremy’s bones. He couldn’t help it when he did it, and most of the time he only worried to worry. Even though he’d managed to bite it back a bit, watching Danny immerse himself in work had only put him more on edge, not wanting to disturb the other because he knew how important it was to him. Recent events had done nothing to quell the medium’s fears of Danny pushing himself too hard, but the more he tried to make the witch slow down, the harder Danny would push. So he pulled away, only slightly, to give the other the space he seemed to need, and kept himself as busy as possible.

For once, they were actually going to be normal. Looking at houses, and a lunch date. That was as normal as it could get, and Jeremy wasn’t even sure that was possible in a place like this. But it was worth a shot, especially knowing it could keep their minds off of their worries for awhile. He’d finally found a house in his price range, that had extra bedrooms and a basement so that Danny could make it his own, and from the picture’s he’d seen online, it looked like a perfect place to move past the fire and start over. For both of them, if Danny wanted that too. Pulling a clean shirt over his head, the hunter tousled his hair to the side, and shrugged on a light jacket before he stepped out into the living room, sliding his wallet in his back pocket as he waited for Danny.

Work was the only outlet Danny had that didn’t involve either magic or contemplating murder. Since he didn’t want to slip off that carefully placed edge, he poured his efforts into both Derek’s campaign and how own future endeavors. Jeremy and Jackson, the two most important men in his life, were the only two really capable of pulling him back toward any semblance of stable ground. When both were two afraid of ‘bothering’ him…well, those were the times that he’d get the most focused, lose the most sleep.

Finding a house, going out for lunch; it was a little late, long-needed, but it was still something. Acting like a normal couple rather than a coordinated force against supernatural discrimination was something both Jeremy and Danny direly needed.

Dressed lazily in a striped tank and cargo shorts, he actually kicked on a pair of sandals; proof that he was, indeed, mentally exhausted and in dire need of a distraction. He strode out of the bedroom, rolling his shoulders and twisting his back to recover from cowering in a computer chair all day.

          “Ready?”
